goat cheese stuffed dates
my new go-to holiday appetizer this holiday season.
herbs (i used thyme + rosemary)
maple syrup + coconut sugar
preheat oven to 425. drizzle maple syrup + coconut sugar on bacon and cook until crispy. meanwhile, whip room temp goat cheese by hand or in a mixer until smooth - i added in some fresh thyme and rosemary as well. place whipped cheese inside a plastic bag and cut the corner to pipe. chop pistachios and bacon. pit dates, pipe in cheese, sprinkle nuts + bacon, and drizzle with honey. add some extra thyme on top! enjoy.
