an INSANELY tasty mocktail (that can be easily turned into a cocktail with a shot of campari!!) & also a little note on staying present.
2oz pear juice
1oz tart cherry juice
1oz almond apple syrup
-1/4c maple syrup
-1tsp almond extract
1oz lime juice
pear, cinnamon stick + dried lime to garnish
cinnamon + sugar (for rim)
make your almond apple maple syrup. add 1/4c maple syrup + 1/4c water to a saucepan and bring to a boil. reduce to a simmer and add red apple slices, cinnamon, and almond extract. feel free to add more almond extract to taste! simmer for about 20 minutes. strain and cool.
rim your cocktail glass with a lime wedge and dip into a mix of cinnamon and sugar. to a shaker, add pear juice, water, almond apple syrup, lime juice and ice. shake until cold. add ice to your cocktail glass and pour your drink. garnish with a pear wedge, cinnamon stick &/or dried lime slice! to make this a low abv cocktail, throw a shot of campari in there instead of your cherry juice/water combo.
