Whipped Ricotta Toast with Gremolata Topping
MY LATEST CRAVINGS
Welcome to my chatty, unapologetic, constantly-in-flux corner of the internet—seriously, buckle up. A few things to know about me: I’m loud, independent, and reinventing myself every day. I also have a gift for befriending just about every dog I meet. I hope that says it all. (Kidding, let’s grab a decaf coffee and I’ll tell you everything. Start to finish.)
But for the sake of brevity, I’ll keep it short. Like all beautiful things, my first Instagram account, @olive.eeeats began in bed at one in the morning. I’d been through heartbreak, was fresh out of school, and thought “clean eating” was my key to a happy life–this was 2016, y’all. Despite my fears, hesitancy, and the fact that no one has called me Olive in my life EVER, the account grew. But that hyperfixation on healthy food developed into orthorexia and inspired what I thought was a permanent break from Instagram.
Clearly, I’m back—but with a renewed sense of who I am and what I want to create. Nowadays, I consider a solid binge-watch my hobby, I move my body because it feels good, and I make charcuterie boards to satisfy both my aesthetic and snacky needs. Please tell me you can relate.
