chocolate covered air-fryed chickpeas

that is correct. chickpeas are now becoming a dessert and i stg these are fire.

ingredients //

1 can chickpeas, rinsed

1/2 bar dark chocolate

spoonful coconut oil

flaky sea salt

method //

rinse chickpeas + lightly coat with evoo, avocado oil or coconut oil spray. and add to air fryer — 400 for 15-20 min or until crispy.

you can also bake! preheat oven to 425, add chickpeas to a parchment lined cookie sheet + bake for 20-30 min.

melt your chocolate + coconut oil in 30 second increments in the microwave, stirring in between.. until melted.

add chocolate to chickpeas and coat. sprinkle flaky sea salt on top.

add to the freezer until rock hard, about 20-30 minutes. ENJOY!


*keeps in freezer in an airtight container for 5-7 days*
